On our way to the Grand Canyon we crossed over the new bridge that was built above the dam. The canyon is about 1,000 feet below you when you cross over. You cannot see down because of the high walls on both sides.

Randy and I celebrated our 21st Anniversary on the 16th. We spent 3 days in Las Vegas. Randy surprised me with a suite at the The Hotel that is part of Mandalay Bay. It was very nice. For part of our time together we went to the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. They have the Sky Walk that was built about 4 years ago. You can walk out on it and look 4400 feet down into the canyon through the glass that you are walking on. It was raining the day we went. I was so scared at first. It is quite the experience. I finally got my courage up and walked out and around. You could feel it flex and move a little. They will not let you take your camera with you, so these are photo's taken before we went on it.

This is the a close-up of the Sky Walk.

This was the 2nd part of the tour at the West Rim of the Grand Canyon. We could see the river and a good view of the canyon. They did not have any fences or restraints up anywhere. If you were not careful you would fall if you walked too far off of the path. This part has been open to tourists for about 4 years.

The family in front of the corn. Didn't know what else to write. :)

Grandma made us a great lunch with some chocolate pudding pie.

Eph was there and is still the same.

Grandpa and the girls with an ear of corn. He tasted some of the animal feed and said it tasted like sawdust. We all took his word for it.

We went to the farm this on Saturday for the first time since Dylan left on his mission. The corn was so tall you could not see the house when entering the farm.

For Halloween this year we took a trip to Disneyland and then on our way home we stopped to look at the LA temple. It was a great time together as a family. :)

Toria's senior homecoming. She had a blast and went to the dance with some of her friends.

Toria did a fashion show with a bunch of her friends from Pahrump. They modeled dresses from Alyse's Bridal.

We have a new addition to our family. Her name is Kloe. She is a one year old female boxer. We just got her yesterday. The dentist that I work for gave her to us. She is fun, but is a spaz! The girls did not know we were getting a dog, and were pleasantly surprised when I brought her home. She is house broken, fixed, and really sweet. We are getting used to having a dog in the house. She will sit and lay down, and loves to play fetch.

Kloe likes lots of squeaky toys.

Toria and Shayla getting ready to ride the Silver Bullet at Knott's Berry Farm.

Toria, Laura, and Cody and some other fans of catching sand crabs. We were able to meet some other friends at the beach as well.

Shayla busted me with my camera while I was trying to eat.

Miss Hollywood with her sunglasses!

Shayla, Toria and I posing in front of the ocean. It was a fun day. Randy was not able to go with us and we missed him.

The girls and I went to the Newport Beach with a friend of Toria's. The water was so cold. The wave hit their feet as I took this picture. The weather was beautiful.

I finally found a road bike. I am excited to ride it. It is great exercise and fun to do with friends.
